About The Artwork
A golden dragon egg, entangled by a stone structure to protect it. The rock structure also serves as a first test for the young dragon; only when the dragon is strong enough it can hatch by breaking through the stone maze.
 The shiny and bright gold against the dark and rough rock creates a very interesting contrast lending the sculpture a mysterious feel. This massive (1.3 kg/ 2.86 lb) resin sculpture has been painstakingly hand painted to look and feel authentic. Many hours have been put into attaining the right look and feel of both the gold and stone.
