Life experience coupled with a dose of humor – these are the elements that form the basis of my work: mixed media paintings on both wood and canvas. Visually, my paintings and illustration reflects my sensibility as a graphic designer, incorporating vivid imagery, stencils, and type into unexpected, multilayered pieces that typically combine computer- generated graphics and color palettes, magazine clippings, tape, and acrylic and spray paint. All of this inspired by anything and everything, be it a childhood memory or passing glance outside my studio window.
