Small-scale piece on canvas-wrapped board painted after viewing images from the Hubble Telescope archive. I wanted to try out some ideas and techniques to capture a feeling of calm and of happiness, simply viewing true beauty (in my eyes). Edges are painted black and the piece is strung with picture cord to the back, ready to hang. Signed and dated on the back.
