About The Artwork
This work was started in Berlin where I collaborated with a German artist and made the "Goose" mask to pose in one of his works. I in turn painted my face into the painting with the fox fur which was purchased at the Mauer Park Flea Market in Berlin and started my obsession with fur. The fox has appeared in many of my paintings - it is a vintage item from probably the 1940's. In turn, Boris posed for me so the hand is his and I added a gloved hand which is a symbol that often appears in my work. This painting was shortlisted for the Sunshine Coast Art Prize and is one of my favourites.
