My series of "Leaves" was motivated by a theme that I keep alluding all throughout my work: memories and time. The passage of time represented in the leaves turning brown. But also the sensuality of nature reflected in them.

Argentina
SUSANA RODRÍGUEZ was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires with a Master in Printmaking. In 1988 she obtains a residency in Rockefeller Foundation, Bellagio, Italy. In 1989 and 1990 she works at the top printmaking workshop in Sao Paulo, Brazil, producing lithographs. In 2001 she is awarded the Gran Premio de Grabado del Salón Nacional, the most important award for artists working in print media in Argentina. In 2012 the Congress of the City of Buenos Aires awards her the recognition as a significant personality in the Arts.
