About The Artwork
Thinking about the future. Is the time coming or going, how my time-dimension rolls on between micro- and macrokosmos. Beautiful math is portraying the physics forces, here - the time. I mostly do harmonious medium-size paintings using oil, pastel and mixing earth colors with a hint of neon.Here I have exposed sunlight by using syanothype-method to make dark blue primer and the geometrical figure visible. As preferring natural or recycled materials, my works are often rough and earthy. I use computer when cutting masks and photo-shopping pictures, but when painting I pursue expressive touch. This work is painted on MDF-board.

LOCATION: I live and work in Finland. Living nearby forests is vital for me. I am working in old barn at home and I have a showroom in town of Turku. When studying in Art-Academy I did my written thesis about art and science, and this theme follows me. To me - mathematical shapes and lines, notations, reflections of molecules - represent the invisible world like time, energy, matter, gravity. Things and art-forms like various perspectives, cubism, transparency, egological materials, light-, bio- and soundart interests me. In paintings I like to create upcoming shadows and unexpected compinations.
