'Floating Flowers' is a work that is part of my series 'Paintings Beyond the Medium'. This series is about re-interpret a painting/photograph/collage and the influence modern techniques have on the process of creating abstract artworks. The power of nature and technology is a dominant subject in my work as artist. I make use of traditional techniques (painting, drawing, photography), as well new techniques (scanning, digital drawing/manipulating and printing techniques) to create a new -unique- work of art.
