About The Artwork
Inspired by the economic collapse of Detroit and the working class, this sculpture is a fully functioning game. The round and modified saw blade spin and line up with the central indicator rod. The players place their "coins" on the game boards which spell out the words; layoff, drug abuse, crime and death. In this game, when you win Layoff Bingo, you lose.
