Perhaps you know the old German legend from the lovely virgin "Lorelei"... She was the inspiration for me for this work. ...Lorelei sat on a rock at the river Rhine and was waiting for her beloved. She was incredibly beautiful and she sang wonderfully. So many seafarers and fishermen fell in love with her. They lost the orientation and many of them drove against the dangerous reefs and rocks and lost their lives, until one day her heartfelt love came back... This is an original unframed linocut print. It is made by hand, not a digital print or a photo copy. Hand carved and pulled from the block. Each work is signed, titled and numbered by me. The Image/ Plate size is: 46x29 cm - 18,1x11,4 Inch Paper size is: 59,4x42 cm / 23,4x16,5 Inch Edition: 10 Handprinted on high quality paper, 220g/cm2, with high quality ink.
