Archival C Type on Fuji Crystal Gloss Paper. 24 x 16 inches, 60 x 40 cm Available in a limited edition of 20. There is no such thing as an innocent image. The baby is four days old. I climbed on top of the children’s wobbly bunk beds, which were shaking precariously, to capture this scene. I am drawn to individual, gaudy, faded, beauty - to the painterly,neglected, and the strange - to the highly coloured and richly textured. I like to construct photographs that appear naturalistic, but hint at an unspokennarrative. I enjoy the suggestion that they could uncover hidden secrets and create a doorway between illusion and reality.
