Bold abstract shapes come together in a beautiful expressionistic painting inspired by the landscapes of Texas hill country. Complete with Texan wildflowers and a big Texan sky, this painting revels in the natural beauty of this landscape. The brush strokes are thick and impressionistic, full of life and movement. This painting has been framed in an Open Impressionist frame. These frames are one-of-a-kind, hand carved in the US and hand-gilded with 23kt gold leaf. Open Impressionist frames are a beautiful blend of classic American impressionist frames and contemporary "floater frames," just as my painting style is a unique blend of the classic and contemporary. The frame is designed to stand away from the edge of the canvas, leaving a 1/4" gap around the painting.
