About The Artwork
Inspired by a trip to and a stay in Pari, Italy where I painted and sketched. Pari is ion western Tuscany. Pari is a small hill town surrounded by farms. One day while walking down the hill at the bottom of Pari I spotted Irio on his tractor. Later, after showing the portrait, townsfolk told me his name. Exhibited widely in Italy: Rome, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Terni, etc. A professional educator, taught full-time at Lane Community College for over 25 years and worked as a manager for Lane County Regional Information System.
