About The Artwork
A maiden is being pursued by two, one of them being Death itself. She escapes by being carried off, with tower and all, by a third suitor (perhaps). She tried to escape otherwise using her long hair. All of her belongings are scattered around, including e.g., iron, skirt, radio, bike, underwear, telephone, mirror, the latter reflecting herself, etc. The print an à la poupée etching made using stylus and roulettes and printed over a yellow aquatint base plate. There are only very few copies of this image left.
