Eva Joseph was a mid-century modern artist who began her artistic journey studying figurative painting under David Park in the 1940's. Later after completing her master's degree at U.C.Berkeley she began exploring printmaking at the Kala institute. Her works have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the Bay Area. She was active with the San Francisco Women's artists. In the latter part of her life she moved to the Los Angeles and taught painting to numerous students in the South Bay Area while continuing to show her works in the Los Angeles area.
