About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the beautiful stone carvings and exotic flowers in the garden of the Tjambuham Spa Hotel in the old Balinese capital of Ubud. My idea was to combine detailed pencil drawing with delicately painted flowers and offerings. This is one in a series of six, exclusive to Saatchi Art. Painted on Arches Cotton Watercolour Paper, it is ready to frame and is mounted in professionally made 10cm (4 inch) wide pale cream matting, taking the overall size to 60 x 51cm.
