About The Artwork
Vegas conjures up so many images of glitz, glamour, decadence and excess, of casinos, shows and fancy hotels. I lived not far off Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas for several months at the end of 2014. I wanted to capture the feel of the place on its various levels, and used layering techniques to create this piece which I think captures the carnival like atmosphere of the city.
