About The Artwork
Inspired by a visit to Arezzo, Italy in Tuscany where I saw this face of an old man as he walked by. A pensioner for sure, this guy has his life written in his face, life experience and the angst of a retired person on a limited income. I read this face as a comment on the many problems facing Italy, economically and socially. This is a limited edition print to canvas that has been painted on with oil paints. I have sold the singular original and have only produced one and only one print to canvas that I have painted on. Signed by the artist. Because the print has been edited with oil paints, it is really just another original of the same subject. However, it is larger than the original painting by approximately four inches in each direction.
