I have been inspired by the vintage characters of contemporary paintings by the German artist Neo Rauch. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? I hope that the viewers link see the hat man and connect ot with the Robert Filliou's, a French Fluxus artist, who has created "La galerie légitime", a commercial art gallery founded on the mind of anyone and marked by a hat. And I hope that viewers associate "La galerie légitime" with the Davis Museum, my museum founded on a ballot box, in 2009. And I also hope viewers understand that this painting is part of "The Paintings Section From Davis Museum". Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? Oil painting is one of the most sophisticated technique for an artist. Oil painting is a slow technique and it takes a long time for the artist to achieve good results. It is very delicate, it pervades many subtle variations and at the same time it is a technique that can last for centuries. By the way, I only use the best materials for my paintings: linen canvas and Old Holland oil paintings. How will your artwork be packed for a movement? Artwork will be guaranteed to be shipped in accordance with high security standards, so that your shipment is as safe as possible while traveling from the artist's studio to your museum, gallery, hotel, business or home. For this, your oil paintings on canvas will be sent unrolled, stretched out on a wooden frame, flat, without frames and any special assembly.
