About The Artwork
Inspired by a 2-week stay in Sicily. I was impressed by the colours of the fields and distant mountains. I had spent time in Mexico and couldn't help but notice the same explosion in colours in Sicily as in Mexico. Here in the south of Italy there is a similar boldness in the aesthetic continuum that presents itself to the visitor.

Exhibited widely in Italy: Rome, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Terni, etc. A professional educator, taught full-time at Lane Community College for over 25 years and worked as a manager for Lane County Regional Information System. Arts activist founding many alternative art shows and galleries in the Eugene, OR and surrounding areas.
