Symbolic Meeting - Artist's Book Sculpture

Part II An Artist's book created for the exhibition: Inter-medium - August 2009 in Sydney, AUS. We were all from different backgrounds, places of course, but also by our techniques. In this kind of group show, I often used to do as a nod to those around me, even to the "quotes" of their work. This meeting was very symbolic for me, hence the title. Transformation in May 2011 from what has been shown in Sydney. A new cylindrical box simply to receive the drawings, writing pages, impressions ... and amber where small objects (rituals and imaginary) inclusion. The 38 "Small Weak Drawings" = 3Petits Dessins Débiles" = PDD are now number 53. These loose-leaf is a set composed of five parts: Part 1: "The time for introspection" Part 2: The time of writing Part 3: Dawn of Dreams (/ / with Aboriginal art and design John Mawurndjul - bedroom bark Quai Branly Museum - on which I have based this "Symbolic Meeting" + Designs that are a reinterpretation of the work (photographs, paintings, etc ...) the other participants. Part 4: The time of light (green print) Part 5: The time offerings The box contained old = 1) 5 pages with golden circle (for Asian rituals) 2) 7 drawings with collage on black paper 3) 15 pages of writing describing the project as a kind of diary 4) 38 "Small stupid cartoons", each signed and numbered (index + black ink) 5) 6 green prints, numbered and signed + Small objects: - Included in some of the resin objects 3 - Other painted in gouache and varnish and locked in small packages handmade paper (Madagascar): 7 + 3 objects stuck to the bottom of the box they are heads of the series "Micromanéthiques" The new box does not welcome "Micromanéthiques" I will present to share. Nous étions tous d'horizons divers, lieux bien sûr mais aussi par nos techniques. Dans ce genre d'expo collective, j'ai souvent pour habitude de faire comme des clins d'oeil à ceux qui m'entourent, voire même à faire des "citations" de leur travaux. Cette réunion pour moi était toute symbolique, d'où le titre. Transformation en ce mois de mai 2011, de ce qui a été montré à Sydney. Une nouvelle boîte cylindrique accueillant simplement les dessins, pages d'écriture, impressions... et l'inclusion couleur ambre où se trouvent de petits objets (rituels et imaginaires). Les 38 "Petits Dessins Débiles" = PDD sont maintenant au nombre de 53. Ces feuillets libres constituent un ensemble composé de 5 parties : Partie 1 : "Le temps de l'introspection" Partie 2 : Le temps de l'écrit Partie 3 : Le temps du rêve (// avec l'art aborigène et un dessin de John Mawurndjul - chambre des écorces Musée du quai Branly - sur lequel je me suis basé pour ce "Symbolic Meeting" + des dessins qui sont une réinterprétation des travaux (photographiques, peintures, etc...) des autres participants. Partie 4 : Le temps du regard (impression verte) Partie 5 : Le temps des offrandes L'ancienne boîte contenait = 1) 5 pages avec cercle doré (pour les rituels asiatiques) 2) 7 dessins avec collages sur papier noir 3) 15 pages d'écriture décrivant le projet comme une sorte de journal 4) 38 "Petits dessins débiles", chacun numéroté et signé (bristol + encre noire) 5) 6 impressions en vert, numérotées et signées + De petits objets : - certains inclus dans de la résine : 3 objets - d'autres peints à la gouache et vernis et enfermés dans de petits emballages en papier fait main (Madagascar) : 7 objets + 3 collés au fond de la boîte ce sont des têtes de le série "Micromanéthiques" La nouvelle boîte n'accueille pas les "Micromanéthiques" que je présenterai à part.
